I often get asked: what camera shall I buy?
If you ask this question, you are probably a beginner, just about to embark on your photography journey.
While this is a very tricky question with no easy answer, I would recommend these two cameras (below) to start with and learn photography.
I recommend Canon because that is what I use myself. When buying Canon equipment, I prefer to buy from retailers rather than from Canon directly.
Buying a new camera is very often a question of budget as well. Photography is not the cheapest of hobbies but you also don’t need a huge arsenal of kit to take amazing images.
Please, please buy the body speparately and not as part of a kit as you want to start by creating beautiful images and the lens is the most imporant in that. A kit lens usually comes with lenses where the largest aperture is 3.5 or 4.5 but you need something much more beautiful than that so please go for the amazing 50mm lens.
So, here’s my recommendation for beginners for
camera:
Canon R100 - this is the Canon beginner mirrorless camera, great little camera
Canon R50 - also beginner but a step uo from the R100
and lens:
Canon RF 50mm f1.8

I must emphasize that Nikon, Fuji and Sony and all the others make exceptional quality equipment. However, I’ve only been using Canon, I feel it is only fair if I make my recommendation on the basis of my experience.
