Photography Notes from the Garden

It still feels quite strange to say it or write it down but I have written a book! I’m not sure when it all started but probably on a morning garden shoot, I was in this garden and I was wrapped around by this wonderful feeling of peace and quiet. I later wrote down this feeling in my notebook. It was a Summer’s morning. Shortly after that, I started to regularly teach classes and I had to put my thoughts into words as I was trying to pass them on to others. I had a notebook full of thoughts. Inspiration for organizing all my thoughts into a book came and went, came and went. Until last Summer. I was photographing the first book of the amazing Rosanna Morris and I was so inspired by her work, her personality, her life, how she juggles creative work and 3 children and so on. I got home from that shoot hit by a huge amount of inspiration and the book suddenly started to take shape. I grabbed my notebook and sat for days at our dining table, my favourite place (especially for morning peace and quiet) and the ideas and thoughts were flowing. Finally! Long story short - it is all now in a book.

The book was printed in a limited number of copies but due to its success - thank you so much - it’s now available again via my webshop. It is not sold commercially so if you’d like to order a copy, follow this link or get in touch with me.
